This project was designed and headed up by Architect William McMorran of Architectonicus. The principle contractors being Jenkinson Builders with JTC Roofing Contractors providing the zinc work.
The design stage began back in 2014 with the owners wanting a ‘weekend retreat’ at the seaside that replicated the clashing of the waves. This was to be in VM quartz zinc with low reflective stainless steel fascia’s facing the sea. Rainwater goods were also to be of quartz zinc. In total, 3,000kgs of metal were used for the roof covering.
The project was completed in early 2017.
